Vortexx Professional Series Pressure Washers

ProsumerNeed a pressure washer that can deliver massive amounts of cleaning power day in, day out? Vortexx has the tools to meet your needs. Between Honda’s engines, AR’s precision manufactured pumps and Vortexx’s own carts and modifications, these models can withstand the most demanding work environments.

Professional 3000

This pressure washer is powered by a Honda GX 200. There’s more to this engine than just Honda’s reputation for quality: every part has been engineered to be easy on the operator. It uses a lightweight block with a forged crankshaft, helical cut internal gears and a rigid crankcase to reduce internal noise and vibration. This is further reduced thanks to a dual element air filter and large capacity, multi-chamber exhaust. Starting is easy thanks to an automatic decompression system that reduces the strength needed to pull the starter handle. This engine is both CARB and EPA certified, so it’s legal for sale and use anywhere in the U.S. and Canada. Honda backs their GX Series motors with a 3 year warranty.

The motor drives an RCV Series triplex pump built by AR North America and co-developed with Vortexx specifically for the 3000. It delivers 2,950 PSI at 3 GPM for a total of 8,850 CU with almost no pulsation.

By themselves, these are excellent components, but Vortexx turns them into something that really shines. They build their own aluminum frames that have a unique U shape that will protect the components if the cart is ever tipped, and there’s a place to store everything right on the unit, making it simple to move. Maintenance is easy thanks to cut-outs for easy access to oil drains and recoil bolts. Once in operation, pneumatic tires and dampener pads keep the cart from moving itself from the vibrations of the pump and motor. Collapse the Tow & Stow handle, and the washer’s low profile makes it easy to store. Vortexx also adds rebuildable unloaders, extra filters, thermal relief valves and a bypass hose to reduce wear and tear on the washer’s components for the most reliable service possible.

Professional 4000

Need more power? This model comes with a 390 cc version of the Honda GX and an RR Series pump, brining output up to 4,000 PSI and 4 GPM (16,000 CU.)

Gear and Belt Drive Speed Reduction

Direct drive is simple, but getting top engine output means spinning the pump at high speeds. Vortexx’s gear reduction models cut pump speed in half, maintaining pressure while extending service intervals. The company offers two versions: the Pro+ Gear Drive keeps costs low with a gear-based reduction system, while the Pro+ Belt Drive uses a belt and pulleys for reduced noise. Both models come with an RK Series pump, designed to offer the same pressure and volume as RR Series at reduced operating speeds.

Electric Professional

If you’ve spent any time around industrial cleaning, you’ve heard about the three T’s: time, temperature and titration. The Electric Professional’s AR Blue Clean AR630 may only produce 1,900 PSI at 2.1 GPM (3,990 CU,) but it makes up for force with temperature. It’s hot water ready straight from the factory thanks to a pump, hose and gun combination that can handle water temperatures as high as 180 degrees F (82 degrees C.) That heat makes the Electric Professional an excellent choice when dealing with oils and fats, whether it’s from trash, storage containers or leakage mechanical equipment.

The Electric Professional uses a convertible cart, the first of its kind in the industry. It still has the same U-shaped aluminum construction of other Vortexx models, but the pump and accessory mounts are on a separate tray that can be lifted off and carried. That means the unit can be rolled to the job site, then carried by hand to difficult-to-reach locations.
